Gargling With Ground Glass

That's what my throat feels like. We've got something running through the office, and it's my turn to have my ass kicked (actually, there were five of us out at least one day last week). Fever, sore throat, aches - oh yeah, all the classic flu symptoms. I haven't posted much because I've been feeling so rotten that all I would be doing is pissing and moaning. That's fun once in a while, but you don't want to read a bunch of that, and I don't want to write like that.

When I come up with something pleasant, I'll post it. Ha, I almost said 'worthwhile' instead of 'pleasant'! As if...

1 You do manage to come up with the attention-getting titles, don't you :-) Though I didn't have the raw throat ailment, I did have the nose-running-a-marathon for the past week or so. Bed rest, lots of tea w/lemon & honey, throat lozenges (to alleviate the PDN - post-nasal drip clogged pipe thingie) ... aspirin or excedrin for the sinus headache... and soup. blahblahblah... Feel better soon!

2 If you don't feel better in another day or two, you might want a throat culture. When I was sick at Christmas I thought it was flu, but it was strep throat. Three does of Augmentin and I was good as new (although irked that I'd wasted four days feeling like I was gargling with glass shards.) Hope you feel better.
