2 This looks like many of the "comment spammers" from way back in 2001-2003 and the long meandering comment things they used to leave all around the blogosphere. Maybe you remember them - they were (as dogette says) nearly unreadable because of length and idiocy and the same comment would turn up on just about every blog in the political blog circles. I always figured it was one person who was spamming comments around the sphere trying to get some attention. After a while I guess they got tired of it or the comments were simply being deleted instead of people arguing points... and the practice waned. Maybe it's picking back up again or maybe it's someone who is bored. One never knows. Although if you wade through and find a distinctive phrase to google - maybe you'll see if turns up on other blogs...

3 I got a couple of comments from this nutjob...or 'bot...whatever the hell it was. Reminded me of the tiny-handwriting screeds that mental patients write. I read each one, bemusedly, before deleting it and banning the IP addy it came from.
