1 The gf and I were in Balto for the Nats game Saturday night--the one w/ two rain delays? Fortunately, we were close to the overhang so we just backed up a couple of rows--and if it had gotten *really* bad we would have gone inside the Club Level and sat on a couch...or at the bar...

2 Ted,a couple of weeks ago some idiot that my dad hired "fixed" the roof on the enclosed back porch.We awoke the other day to a huge bulge in the ceiling.Of course my dad couldn't help but to poke it with a broom handle.You can guess the outcome.
Of course all of this came after a fun filled night of changing my dad's fan belt for him on the side of the road,in the pouring rain......thrice!Of course it was all for naught being as how the real culprit was the fan getting ready to fly off due to a busted water pump.She(the truck) still wound up sitting on the side of the road overnight.
Plus,if this wasn't all bad enough,I discovered this morning that I had left my car window down for the last two days.After getting back from checking out my dad's truck the other night we made the switch to the RAV4 so I could more easily carry my tools.In the haste the window slipped my mind.The lake in the floorboard of my car should make for some goood fishin'.
Goodness knows I love this weather(I would move to Bergen if I could)but some of the shit that goes with it is a real pain in the ass.Oh well!It still beats the hell out of hot and dry.I predict much grass to mow.
