Didja get the rash, or just taking precautions?
I read up on Lyme last fall when I had my mystery rash. Rather sobering.

I've got a thin ring of rash immediately around the blood blister where the critter was buried. It's not the typical rash and it came on a lot faster than normal, but it's unusual enough for the doc to start me on the antibiotics while waiting for the blood results to come back. Since this happened Saturday night/Sunday morning, we got to it super early. If it is Lyme, that is.
I usually get one or two tick bites a year, and this has never happened before, so I wasn't waiting around to see the doctor.
